The Hovr Bracket System pairs two high-grade aluminum brackets – one concealed inside the back of the shelf, one mounted to the studs – that interlock and fasten together for unparalleled strength.
Our main extrusion comes in Classic and Slim, with a custom-bent Steel Bracket for the projects that truly push the limits. The Hovr Classic averages 300 lbs at an 8-inch depth.*
The old 2-prong standard
Two rods balanced in drilled holes, held by friction alone. Bump it wrong and the whole shelf comes down. Out with the old.
The Hovr Classic
Interlocking aircraft-grade aluminum, anchored to the studs and locked with a set screw. Rated at an 8-inch depth.
The Hovr Slim
The same locking system in a slimmer profile, built for thinner shelves that still need real holding power.
The Steel Bracket
A custom-bent steel bend for the projects that push past aluminum. Every job is quoted to spec.
Simple to install.
Create the channel in the shelf, put the bracket on the wall, connect the two, and set the screw.

Rout the channel into the back of your shelf so the bracket is concealed inside the wood. Our template shows you exactly where it goes.
Put the bracket on the wall
Screw the matching bracket into your studs through any wall – drywall, plaster, brick, or concrete.
Connect the two
Slide the shelf down onto the wall bracket so the two brackets lock together. Works the same on Classic and Slim.
Set the screw
Tighten the set screw from underneath and you're done. It won't shift, slip, or sag – and it can be removed later if you need to do so.
